The Central Florida Chapter of the United
Ostomy Association is affiliated with the American
Cancer Society.
We are a volunteer, non-profit health organization dedicated to
assisting people who have or are considering intestinal or urinary tract diversions with
support, educational services, visitation at the hospital or home, and monthly support
group meetings. For most people facing Ostomy surgery or suddenly finding themselves with
a new appliance to manage, the adjustment can seem overwhelming, there are many questions
and concerns, especially at first. We are here to offer a helping hand, someone to talk to
that understands and can help people adjust to and maintain their Ostomy and quality of
life.
Monthly Meeting:
Second Sunday each month September to April at
2:00pm.
The meetings are held at Winter
Park Hospital Library.
